Arcadia Dragnet, Year 1, Issue 9

Hello everyone and welcome back to Arcadia Dragnet. Last week OldCastle fansubbed the obscure early-90s Kyoto Animation OVA series Noroi no One Piece, this series is a gorgeous and poignant horror-themed look at the subtle ways beauty expectations warp and break the lives of young women and girls and I think everyone should give it a look! I also checked out the excellent and fun mecha OVA Shooting Star Gakusaver, the tranquil and moody Comet in Moominland, and the wonderfully whimsical Coo of the Far Seas. So much excellent anime out there!

Contemporary Anime- Unlicensed

Okay there's a lot of stuff to go over. For weekly shows, BuriBuri released episode 20 of Super Shiro, Some-Stuffs released episode 15 of Pokemon 2019, Impatience released episode 8 of Breakers, MoyaiSubs released episode 84 of Kiratto Pri-chan, Hoshi-no-Yume FS released episode 47 of Beyblade Burst GT, Mutsurini-Translations released episode 9 of Natsunagu!, Mezashite released episode 21 of Aikatsu on Parade, and an anon released episode 9 of Hentatsu TV. Episode 8 of Dorohedoro received fansubs from LookMomIFansubbed and the usual anon, and episode 5 of Healin' Good♡Precure received fansubs from Serenae and the usual anon.

JapariSub released episode 15 of Chokotto Anime Kemono Friends 3, Doremi Fansubs released episode 23 of Ojamajo Doremi Comedy Theatre, Sharongearsubs released episode 3 of Senki Zesshoushinai Symphogear XV, Weeaboo-Shogun released subs for the Transformable Shinkansen Robot Shinkalion Hello Kitty CM, and Mushin released the 2nd OVA for Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou. Lumpstud released episode 13 of The Snack World and GenmCorp fansubbed Kaiju Girls BLACK.

Finally, two eagerly-anticipated movies got fansubbed. HibikeCord, a large collection of Hibike Euphonium and Kyoto Animation fans, released fansubs for Hibike! Euphonium Movie 3: Chikai no Finale. AK-Submarines, a scanslation group dedicated to localizing manga about moe girls with guns, released fansubs for Girls und Panzer das Finale 2. Thank you to these groups for their hard work!

Contemporary Anime- Licensed

This week, Commie Subs released Haikyuu! To The Top episode 8 and Ace of the Diamond Act II episode 48, Asenshi released Heya Camp episode 8, MapleClub released episode 5 of Bofuri, Judas released episode 8 of Ishuzoku Reviewers, Asakura released episode 8 of Isekai Quartet season 2, Mutsurini-Translations released episode 9 of Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki,  tenshisubs released episode 20 of Nanatsu no Taizai- Kamigami no Gekirin while Chyuu released episode 17 of the same, Doki Fansubs released episode 8 of Madoka Magica: Magia Record while YameteTomete released episode 4 of the same, Butter Fansubs released episode 4 of Koisuru Asteroid, and 0x539 released episode 4 of Somali to Mori to Kamisama.

Classic Anime

This was a relatively quiet week. Inka-Subs released episodes 17-22 of Pipopapo Patrol-kun, SquareSubs released episode 20 of Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go!! WGP, Stardust Fansubs released episode 5 of Ore-sama Kingdom, and The Skaro Hunting Society released episode 63 of Pokemon (1997). Wisperer released episodes 10-12 of Princess Sara, and AnimeShinigami released episodes 45 and 46 of Saikyo Robo Daioja.

Other

This week SakuraCircle released episode 2 of Kiss Hug, episode 2 of Enjo Kouhai, and the first episode of Aisei Tenshi Love Mary: Akusei Jutai The Animation. Puff also had a productive week, releasing Tenioha! 2, Energy Kyouka!!, and Tonari no Ie no Anette-san The Animation.

The donghua short Honkai Impact 3- Meteoric Salvation was fansubbed, and subs have appeared on AnimeXin for episode 93 of Douluo Dalu (Soul Land), episode 8 of Yao Jing Zhong Zhi Shou Ce (Demon Spirit Seed Manual), episode 10 of Xian Wang de Richang Shenghuo (The Daily Life of the Immortal King), episode 11 of Wu Geng Ji (The Legend and the Hero) season 3, episode 11 of Wan Jie Shen Zhu (Lord of the Universe), and episode 38 of Wan Jie Xian Zong (The Wonderland of Ten Thousands) season 3.

Fansub Classifieds

Specter Subs is looking for more members. This group is hoping to find experienced fansubbers and people who can work with vector graphics. The group specializes in working on the Yo-kai Watch anime. Please fill out this Member Application if you are interested.

South Wind Subs has been advertising for members for a long time, this group focuses on older anime. More information on the group and the roles that can be filled is available here. Please contact JohnnyChuck on MAL if you're interested in helping out.

Zorori-Project is a fansub group focused on subbing cute anime with animals. Their focus is on the Kaiketsu Zorori franchise, but they are also working on Shiawase Apartment's Okojo-san, Tetsunoshin, and Gon. The group is currently looking for another translator to help out when the new Zorori anime begins airing, if you have the skills and interest to help out please contact Acrufox on Twitter.

Now these are two personal requests: Birthday Wonderland and Kaijuu no Kodomo have each been fansubbed... but the subs seem mediocre. Would someone who can translate from Japanese be willing to give these subs a look and work with me to improve them? Please leave a comment if you're interested!
