Arcadia Dragnet, Year 1, Issue 6

Hello and welcome back to Arcadia Dragnet. Hope you've all had a pleasant week, mine was very exciting and busy! In my spare time I ended up watching XiaoLv He XiaoLan (Beryl and Sapphire), an excellent rom-com donghua that I'd easily recommend to anyone. Thank you GuodongSubs for fansubbing it! I also recently picked up Inka-Subs's release of Panzer World Galient, I'm 5 episodes in and it's been a blast so far.

This week, my Featured Fansubs are for Ore-sama Kingdom, a little-known shoujo OVA series that's getting fansubbed by my friends at Stardust Fansubs. I love the visual energy of this show, its plot and subject matter are nothing special really but the animations and facial reactions elevate its otherwise mundane situations into super hilarious and enjoyable moments. The first 4 episodes are currently out and I'm excited to watch more!

Contemporary Anime- Unlicensed

Thanks to akemilena, Kuutei Dragons is now completely available with English subtitles! Episodes 10-12 were released this week. It was also good to see Nyaa user fenson upload a complete collection of the Kemurikusa shorts from 2012, 2018 and 2019, along with the Donbei ad. Subtitles for these shorts have been available for a few months but only in obscure places. LCE also released their own version of the Kemurikusa x Donbei ad.

As usual, BuriBuri released episode 17 of Super Shiro, Some-Stuffs released episode 12 of Pokemon 2019, Impatience released episode 5 of Breakers, an anon released subs for episode 5 of Dorohedoro, another anon released subs for episode 2 of Healin' Good♡Precure, MoyaiSubs released episode 79 of Kiratto Pri-chan, tenshisubs released episode 17 of Nanatsu no Taizai- Kamigami no Gekirin, and Hoshi-no-Yume FS released episode 44 of Beyblade Burst GT. Also, Doremi Fansubs released Ojamajo Doremi Comedy Theatre episodes 21 and 22. Mutsurini-Translations is again the only group releasing current fansubs for Natsunagu!.

Contemporary Anime- Licensed

At the beginning of the week, Promare Blu-Rays were released and within hours the movie was available online. There are currently at least 9 different fansub releases of Promare, each based to a different extent on the official subtitles that were released in theatres. If you need some help sorting through all the releases, Reddit user PromareDayOne has been at the centre of the situation and their posts are a useful starting point. I recommend Beatrice-Raws' release, and if you are looking for the prequel shorts Galo-hen and Lio-hen I recommend checking out Leeson's releases of them.

Now that official subtitles are being made available for Ishuzoku Reviewers again, things have settled down. A group called ExFuni appeared and released episodes 4 and 5, but they have stated they will not be continuing. Judas is continuing to work with Cannongerbil of CGTranslations to fansub the show, now using the official subs as a base.

Commie Subs released Chihayafuru Season 3 episode 17, Ace of the Diamond Act II episode 45, and Haikyuu! To The Top episode 5. Asenshi released Heya Camp episode 5, MapleClub released episode 2 of Bofuri, DameDesuYo released episodes 4-6 of the ReZero Director's Cut, and Kaleido-subs and μtw released episode 4 of Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia. Finally, YameteTomete completed their fansubs for Symphogear XV, releasing episode 13.

Classic Anime

This week, BuriBuri released Crayon Shin-chan episode 32, NoraInuG released Moeru! Oniisan episode 15, STE-Subs released Rockman.EXE episode 19, LonelyChaser Fansubs released Choriki Robo Galatt episode 2, Stardust Fansubs released Ore-sama Kingdom episodes 3 and 4, MovingLines released Chocolat no Mahou episode 11, and KinnikuBusters released Jungle King Tar-chan episode 7. ParadiseHamsubs released Jewelpet Sunshine episode 51, only 1 episode is left! A Nyaa user named Wisperer has begun uploading high-quality episodes of Princess Sara using Licca Fansubs' work as a base- the first 3 episodes have been released so far. Finally, Orphan Fansubs released the movie Senya Ichiya Monogatari for the third and, hopefully, last time (as always, collectr's accompanying blog post is both informative and a fun read!).

AnimeShinigami recently competed their fansubs for GR: Giant Robo. This group is a primarily-Italian fansub group, unfortunately their subs are exceptionally poor so I can't really recommend their work, but they are the only source for the shows they sub. Their work on Saikyo Robo Daioja is ongoing- episodes 39 and 40 released this week.

Other

This was a standard week for hentai releases. SakuraCircle released Overflow episode 6, Chii-chan Kaihatsu Nikki episode 2, Lovely episode 2, Sansha Mendan: Rensa Suru Chijoku Choukyou no Gakuen episode 4, and Youma Shoukan e Youkoko. Puff then used SakuraCircle's subs to release a higher-quality version of Chii-chan Kaihatsu Nikki episode 2.


For donghua, this week sacredgold released Douluo Dalu (Soul Land) episode 90 and MellowJunky machine-translated the 2nd Qiang Sheng Ji (Age of Gunslingers) compilation movie.
